Our Story

Making Cybersecurity Education Accessible

We started 0toroot because we remember what it was like to start from nothing. The expensive courses, the gatekeeping, the imposter syndrome. We believe there's a better way.

Our Mission

To provide high-quality, accessible cybersecurity education that empowers anyone, regardless of their financial situation, to build real skills and launch a career in security. We believe in mentorship over courses, community over isolation, and practical skills over certification farming.

What We Believe

Our values guide everything we do, from how we price our services to how we design our curriculum.

Education Over Profit

We believe cybersecurity education shouldn't be gatekept behind expensive paywalls. Our pay-what-you-can model ensures anyone with genuine interest can learn.

Real Skills, Not Certifications

We focus on building practical skills and intuition, not just helping you pass exams. Our students can actually do the job, not just talk about it.

Community First

Learning alone is hard. We've built a supportive community where everyone helps each other grow, from complete beginners to working professionals.

Ethical Hacking

We teach offensive security techniques for defensive purposes. Our goal is to create ethical security professionals who protect systems, not exploit them maliciously.

Meet the Team

We're security professionals who are passionate about teaching.

The Founders

Security Engineers & Mentors

We're a small group of passionate cybersecurity professionals who got tired of seeing talented people fail because they couldn't afford expensive training. We've worked in SOCs, conducted penetration tests, and hunted bugs. Now we're paying it forward.

Why We Started 0toroot

When we started learning cybersecurity, we faced the same problems everyone does: expensive courses that teach outdated content, bootcamps that prioritize volume over quality, and a community that sometimes feels more interested in gatekeeping than helping.

We learned through trial and error, YouTube videos, free resources, and the occasional kind stranger who answered our questions on Discord. Eventually, we made it. We got jobs, built skills, and started contributing back.

But we never forgot what it was like to start from zero. The imposter syndrome. The fear that we weren't "smart enough." The frustration of not being able to afford the "good" courses.

0toroot is our answer to all of that. Accessible pricing. Real mentorship. A community that actually helps. No gatekeeping.

If you have the curiosity and the drive, we'll help you get there. That's a promise.
